Cristina Slattery contributes to Barcelona Connect, Metropolitan and Miniguide magazines in Barcelona, Spain, where she has lived for the past three years, and to Harvardwood Highlights, the newsletter of the non-profit organization for Harvard alumni and students in the arts, media and entertainment. She teaches English and speaks Spanish and French. Cristina graduated from Harvard College, cum laude in Social Studies/International Relations, and received an M.A. in English from The Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College, and a master’s in teaching from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education. While working as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York, she wrote numerous reports and white papers for the firm and was featured regularly in trade publications that covered the results of an annual survey she managed and edited. Additionally, as a member of the communications team for The September 11th Fund, the 2nd-largest charity created after the attacks of September 11th, 2001, she regularly spoke with the media.
